HTC no longer locking bootloaders (official)

    Well HTC just announced that they will be no longer locking bootloaders on their devices. Wonder what this means for current shipping handsets?

    I'm sure they'll provide some sort of update for existing handsets. If they didn't there'll just be another campaign for them to do so. The power of t'internet eh? Fair play to them.

    I'd say its more a minority that even bother customizing the phones in fairness.

    I woudnt say tiny being honest... look at the xda-dev forums... lots and lots of people tinker. Again this is what actually made HTC popular.
