How much memory for holidays?

I am going on a 2 week holiday soon and I'll be bringing my camera along. I'm just wondering, how much memory should I bring?

I have an 8GB card and it seems more than enough, but thinking back on a previous 3 day trip I took a few hundred photos and a number of videos so I am not sure...

Should I maybe reduce the photo quality? I currently take photos at 10 megapixels... probably not necessary for amateur photography?

Any other tips would also be appreciated!

    Thanks.

Id buy one more just in case.. I went to New York a few years ago and had an 8GB card. I didn't need it though because at the end of everyday I went back and deleted photos I didn't like off the camera and locked the ones I did like. That was on a 350D so the files were a lot smaller then.
