    Hello there,
I apologise if this question has been asked before.
    I am 32.I graduated last Summer with a BA(Hons).
I have been unable to find any work and am on JA since last August.
I am looking at doing a course at a FE Institute.
Am I able to get the BTEA?
Thanks in advance for your help

I'm not sure what the course is but as far as i'm aware, if you are progressing to level 9(HDip/M.A etc) then you should be eligible.

    Thanks for your reply.
The course is not going up the way.
I would be starting something new at level 5.
I haven't been on the BTEA before though I did receive the Maintenance Grant while studying these last two years.

I'm nearly sure you're not entitled because you have an undergrad degree completed already and as you say yourself the course is not a step up (I don't think you can get btea for any postgrad study except for hdip anyways). Call them on these numbers to double check

    Tel:
    (071) 967 2616
    Locall:
    1890 927 999

They are actually very helpful and do answer their phones!
