    can anyone tell me where to get a backbox and fitting in dublin/wexford? if you could give some price estimates too thatd be great. cheers guys

    Yeah its for the escort! Im not sure tbh! Ive between 70-100€ but thatd have to be for the box and fitting?

    Jesus lad, I wouldn't put anything that cost that much near the car, it's liable to send and look awful. Just for a point of reference the catback on my car retails at €900

    So say if i just bought a cheep one of ebay, seen some for 40£, and just fitted that itd do the job?

    With Ebay your taking a risk on quality and noise. Personally Id save my money and get a discrete power-flow cat back.

    It all depends on your goals but for £40 youll get what you paid for.

    see it comes with the insert to quieten it and they sell this like fiberglass stuff (its not fiberglass though) that can quieten it too

    If thats the money you have get your self over to an owners club there are serious bargains to be had on secondhand parts at the minute, i bought a Spoon exhaust that retails for over $700 i bought it for 70 euro ;)

    My advice is simple avoid ebay unless you know exactly what your after, if you cant afford new 2nd hand is allways an option, you dont have to spend a fortune to build a good car just plan your parts

    thats a good idea, im a member of an english club. ill have to look for one in ireland!
