    why do they always have new packages for new users etc ie 6 months free or half price for 6 months etc but give feck all to existing customers who been their loyally for years ???

    I got a Sky Hd box for €29 without having to upgradeto a HD subscription. Pretty pleased with that for the additional capacity

    They've already got you as a customer so they're already making money off you :)
    As long as you willingly pay over the money any month, why would they see that they have to do anything for you?

    Ring em up and ask can they do anything for you. The folks were considering cancelling two multiroom boxes in the house and a HD sub, leaving just the main sky+box on the account. Without flinching, they gave the two multiroom subscriptions free of charge for the next twelve months (worth €30 per month) and the HD half price for twelve months (they didn't take that on though).

    If you don't ask you don't receive!
