    Gents,

Does anyone have any idea what a stock 1998 2.0i prelude BHP is?
It's a Irish car (i.e EU market). I dont have the engine code so cant searh it myself.

    Thanks

I think they were around the 130bhp mark. I'll have a look at the dyno computer in work tomorrow and see what figures they are actually putting out though

BTW they are the F20A engine

Just did a quick google/wiki search and came up with 130bhp also which is a little dissapointing. Thought it would have had more.

If you looking at it as performance car, it wont be great and dog slow. It's very heavy for that engine.

If you looking at it as comfortable coupe cruiser then it's a great car.

Type-r maybe? 2.2 "vtak" would be better suited for that body.

The H22 (2.2 litre) Type S was around 200bhp, the F20 would have been the entry level car

True, It had a bit of poke to begin with but ran out of steam fairly quick.
But yes, a nice comfortable cruiser alright.
