What type of birds did I see ?

    I saw a beautiful pair of birds in my garden today. they both had bright orange breasts and markings like wagtails . they were size of robins but definetlly the breasts weren't red, they were orange. One had less bright breast so I presumed that was the female but my son says its the fledgling. I wonder what type of birds they were. They struck me as they were so beautiful =. I hope they come back again.
