Hey guys hoping some of you can help me out. I am getting four new tyres for my car. It says on the website they take Laser but I can't seem to select an option for it. Anyone used laser with them before?

I can tick mastercard/eurocard, visa, american express and diners club. Do i just select eurocard and enter laser details?

    Have these ones lined up.

    http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=71963534.124.24171&typ=R-142411&ranzahl=4&Breite=185&Herst=Goodyear&Quer=65&Felge=14&Speed=T&weiter=0&kategorie=6&Ang_pro_Seite=15&Transport=P&dsco=124&sowigan=So

I am working off a budget of €280

I have had Bridgestones before and they were good but last time I was getting tyres I had little money so got some cheap ones. Now I have 280 put away. The tyres above come in at 235 delivered and it'll be 40 for fitting, balancing and putting new valves in in a local tyre fitters. Already rang and confirmed they'll do it.

Checked a few other places online like BlackCircles and camskill but they are slightly more expensive. Have heard good things about this place so fingers crossed. I am happy enough with them as I want a brand name that are decent and the car isn't capable of exceeding 160. In fact it'll prob be a miracle to get it to 160 :D

Anyone think I can do better or have I chosen a good buy? It's for a 1.3 Liana hatchback.

Cheers in advance. I have tried to ring but no luck. Only have access to mobile so maybe that's why but i doubt it. Have sent an email but don't expect 1 back til morning at least. Would prefer to buy pretty soon and have it delivered monday or so.

    grrr

finally got through on the phone and the lady just put me on hold while she checked. She then just looked at the options and said "we don't take laser card". I tried to point her to this but she just shrugged it off. Looks like it's time to take a trip up to use the fathers cc and give him the cash. Pain in the hole but nothing I can do :(
    Payment options

While we make every effort to offer the lowest prices in the Germany, we will only be able to keep these competitive prices if payment for our products is assured.
Please choose your preferred method of payment:

    1. By credit card or debit card. We accept Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express, Diners and Laser. Enter your card number. We will debit your account after delivery. If, for security reasons, you would like to avoid sending your credit card number via the Internet, please send us your credit card details by fax or telephone.

If you read the thread here titled 'Video of me getting blowout', you might reconsider using eiretyres at all. They dont seem too helpful when things go wrong.

Can't go wrong with Camskill - better prices and good service.

Dunno if they take laser though!

Camskill worked out only slightly more expensive. As it would involve exchange rate I thought the cc company would hit me with a slight bit more I went with Eiretyres. Used my father's CC and gave him the cash.

Eiretyres no longer take Laser. Got an email this morning saying the are phasing out the payment option. They've already done that so it won't be long before they take it out of terms.

I have them ordered already. 4 new Goodyear duragrip supplied, fitted, balanced and new valves for 275 for under €69 each. The fitters is only a few hundred meters down the road too :D

Laser is almost an obsolete payment method. Visa debit is where it is at now.

Indeed it is but it's the GF's card. I don't even have a current account :D

Have a prepaid mastercard but by the time I load the money and then purchase fees it was easier to ring the father :D

use the prepay MC for Ryan air flights etc as then don't get charged fees for each way. The whole family and friends use the prepaid so it's worth having.
