scratched paintwork on corolla

    I have a 1999 red Toyota Corolla hatchback that needs the paintwork touched up.I cant afford a respray and am wondering if anyone knows the colour or code number of the paint that would have been used on the car and where I could get it? Thanks

    Check the VIN plate, the bottom line has C/TR followed by a code the first group of numbers are the colour code.
    Likely your car has faded over the decade since it was made so the code probably bears little relation to the colour that your car is now.

    Open the bonnet, at the back on the firewall between the engine and the cabin the VIN plate will be riveted on.
