I've sucumbed to the nail biting monster again and want to hide my shame for a party tomorrow night. I've no time for professional gel nails, so I'd love to get some recommendations for the best DIY nail set available in boots or pharmacies. So far I've seen KISS, are they the best? Can you paint them?

    All help really appreciated :)

    Hey!

In my experience Kiss nails are very good, however I find that the glue is really harsh on my nails. I've been a nail biter since I could chew and as a result my nails are very weak, hence their condition isn't helped by harsh glue.

A much better option (that I've tried) is the Broadway gel nail kit that you can get in Boots. They're literally gel nails that you apply yourself so it's much cheaper than a salon and they last for aaaaages!

However, usually I just paint my nails. Stops me biting them cos the nail varnish feels icky if it comes off in my mouth.

    Hope this helps!

I use broadway ones. They come in a short length so they are very natural looking and they stay on for a few days.
