    This might be of interest:
    Saturday 25 June, 2011. 6pm
    Galway City Criterium
    A1/A2 race with separate A3/A4 race.
    1 hour + 2 laps of Cladagh/Salthill area
    Was on last year too - great event.

    On Sunday 26 June, 2011
    Wild West Tour
    The longest Sportive in Ireland at 224km.

    Had a look at the 2012 calendar, looks like there's no criterium in Galway this year?

    I have not heard if it is going ahead or not but I was down that way last year and rode it. It was a great event. Well run and safe. bloody windy by the ocean though !

    Hi,

    Yes, Galway Bay Cycling Club are scheduled to hold the 3rd Annual Jarlath McInerney Criterium at The Claddagh, Galway on the 16th of June, 2012 next. Unfortunately we were too late for the printed calendar but hope to get it up on the Cycling Ireland website soon. We will also be running a Sportive on Sunday, 17th of June in Connemara. We will be updating our own website with news on both events as we get closer to them.
