    E.C.S.C. "Fassaroe 40th Festival"

Smallbore Target Rifle Team Match 5th June 2011

E.C.S.C. held its team format T/R match on Sunday 5th June.

Compared to the fine weather of previous days it was much cooler and the frisky northerly breeze, which blew intermittently during the day, proved enough to keep any really high scores being turned in.

The Army took an early lead which they immediately relinquished to DURC “A”. They got it back two cards from the end, although there was only a single point between the two at that stage. But the Army then drew ahead and closed out the win. The remaining placings were established after three cards, and hardly interchanged at all after that, with DURC “B” taking the bronze. Detailed scores are set out below.

Thanks to all competitors for supporting the shoot; we hope you enjoyed it. Thanks also to the rest of ECSC crew – the shoot seemed to run pretty smoothly. Plus, a special thanks to Laura Marnane for the delicious cakes!
