    Just saw this on the homepage http://www.woodlandsgolf.org/ of my club & thought it may be of interest to some.

    Introductory Membership Offer 2011/2012.

    Applications are invited from New Prospective Adult Members to avail of our Introductory Membership Offer for 2011/2012.

    Option 1: From June 1st. Woodlands Golf Club is offering full 7 day membership @ €1,000.

    Thanks Ice. Will be home to Ireland either November or March and have set my mind (I think) on joining Woodlands. Will try 18 Holes once I get home and will try 2 other courses aswell but for right now thats what I think I'll do.

    wow, that is very cheap in fairness.

    I don't know the first thing about the place though, anyone had any good/bad experiences there?

    Make sure you try Rathcore too wcarey. Close enough distance wise and a real gem of a course. I joined a couple of weeks back and really happy with it so far.

    Played a few weeks back. The two nines must have been built at different times I'd say. The front nine is just OK nothing special but the back nine is great. Lovely challenging holes with a great par 3 over some water.

    Taking everything into account this deal is very good value and will be hard to beat.
