iPod Touch - Buy now or wait for 5th Gen

Title is pretty self explanitory I think.

My 3rd gen iPod was taking from the gym a while back. I meant to get a new on but put it off for ages. I've a bit saved now and I'm thinking of getting a new one.

I haven't heard anything about the 5th Gen iPod Touch, but its fair to assume that it'll probably be out in september. I can wait 3 mnoths tbh.

    But should I bother.
The 4th gen was a reasonable improvement over the 3rd gen.
Is there likely to be many new features this year? What rumours have you heard?

If the upgrade is purely software features, and minor things like ram/CPU (internals bacisally) I don't mind buying the 4th gen and upgrading the iOS in september. But if there are new physical features like the camera last time, retine, etc. i'd rather wait.

I don't want to wait if all i'll get is a higher price tag
    Suggestions?

If I were you I'd wait. The price of the 5th Gen. will probably be the same as the current batch. As for as specs go it's all speculation with rumors of a new touch sensitive home button and a 128GB capacity. It will have some minor spec updates (battery, CPU, crisper display) and will probably be some what lighter.

So yeah I'd wait for the new one to come out as it's pretty close!

I suppose a better battery is a decent addition, CPU wouldn't really swing me too much.

But 128gig is a intriguing. Not because I want to get a 128gig model (currently I was planning on getting 32gig as I don't think the extra 32gig is worth an extra A$100)
But if they bring out a 128gig model, I'd imagine they'll lose one of the current ones, or maybe both 8gig and 32gig, with the 16gig returning.
    To offer 32/64/128 or 16/64/128

In which case the current models move down the hierarchy and will (hopefully) drop in price.
