I have searched the internet and cant seem to find the answer anywhere.
Me and my dad both downloaded Skype to our android phones.

Is it possible for me to use my Skype on my phone and ring his Skype?

Unless I'm missing something (which I may be) that's the whole point of skype, isn't it?

Thats what I thought exactly.
I cant seem to get it to work at all.
I can ring him through my Skype on my laptop though

Can you send him text messages but not call?

Are you both connected through wifi or over 3G?

Not saure about the android phones, but, on the iPhone, until recently you could only make skype to skype calls when you were connected using wireless not 3G. Maybe the android version is a still behind. Try some googling for that.

Think I just figured it out, think you have to download an app called Nimbuzz. Il keep searching.

I'm pretty sure it should work through skype from phone to phone whether it's 3G or Wifi. What happens when you try to make a call?

There should be no problem doing Skype to Skype calls on Android phones using the native Skype app. You dont need any other apps.
