My tunic is white, or at least it used to be. Its now off colour, and while I have ordered a new tunic for the exams, its getting less likely that it will be here on time.

So - Boards. I need your help. I need a sparkling white uniform, before monday.

I have tried anything I could think of
    - Ace bleach
    - Vanish for whites
    - Washing them with those whitening sachets
    - Boil washes..

    Nothing makes them look clean.

Am I trying to achieve the impossible?

If you've already tried all those then I don't think there's much else you can do. Fabric gets tired after a time and stains set in. You could try washing your uniform by itself and use dishwasher powder instead of your regular powder-I've heard it works but I wouldn't be willing to put money on it!

    Maybe try white fabric dye?

If you're Dublin based, Hickey's on Henry st. has it's dyes downstairs beside the odds and ends. I don't know if they do white but all their other colours are there.
