    Hi All

Ive been googling this for an hour and come up with nothing. I'm writing a paper for a client on the issues around selling clothes online - one of the massive issues being returns and how you mitigate the risks of loads of stuff coming back for a refund.

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. Irish or UK would be great if possible. If not, anything will do.

    Thanks a million - ScottyBoy

No idea if they've covered it or not, but I'd check http://econsultancy.com/uk

I know some of the main UK online clothes stores always include a document in the order if the customer needs to return it.

They stick this document onto the front of package - It contains return delivery address and barcode for easy tracking. The customer is 100% liable for the cost to return it and also the safe return of the item.

I would also imagine there is a % cost built into the price to allow for the cost of restocking the returned item.

Customer must be liable for return cost unless it is ure fault (damaged item or wrong order)
