    Sad day for Irish throwing to say the least. Has done for throwing in this country what Delany did for middle distance. Hopefully some of the aspiring young talent which looked to her as an idol can step up to take over her charge in years to come.

    Very sad to hear an injury has prevented her from reaching her potential. Truly world class at her peak in 2007.
