Is it not possible to buy it for $0.99 here to and just let your credit card do the conversion?

i think you have to sign up as a US user with a physical US address (and buy from a US based IP address) and pay with a US based credit card, so it's not quite that easy.

if you try, it just tells you its for US customers only.

still £3.99 is a pretty good deal as well, assuming you like lady gaga.

It says you can't buy the mp3 download in Ireland, due to "geographical restrictions". :(

I notice Imelda May and Thin Lizzy CDs are €5 each in Tesco. :)

What I've heard so far on the radio is rubbish, I don't get why so many people like her?

It's hype and marketing, she's the latest pop sensation, it's wall-to-wall Gaga everywhere. As is the case with a lot of things; people are told she's fantastic and are then brainwashed into believing she actually is. There's no doubt a lot of her tunes are catchy and memorable, great dance floor numbers, but no better than Madonna, Britney, Whitney, etc ... in their day.

Not really. Not a patch on Madonna. She sold 250,000 copies in the UK this week alone. Tesco Balbriggan sold out today when we went to purchase a copy for my niece. HMV selling it for €11.99 yet Harvey Norman are selling it for €6. Had loads in stock today.

I think idiots posters should realise that threads on here are not discussions on the music forum.

The poster listed a specific item at a price they thought may be appealing to others. Thank you to the OP.

I don't give a fúck what your opinion is on GaGa if I'm buying her record, or how you feel latley about Al Pacino if I decide to link to an offer to Scent of a Woman on Bluray at a good price.

Goes to show how brainwashed her fans are that they consider €10 for her CD to be a 'Bargain'.

This is the very same artist who increased her ticket prices mid-tour even returning to the same venues with the same show. She also released her debut album in three different parts, one with a few extra songs and one with the same songs remixed. Nice way to treat her own fans.

Sorry but anything remotely involving Gaga belongs more in the Rip-off Ireland forums than here tbh.

it's funny that, i think other idiots posters should probably just take a chill pill and get over themselves, but what can you do, it's the internet and opinions are like a$$holes. :)

incidentally, as crap as most people here think she is (and i'm definitely one of those people), last week she had 4 singles in the UK top 40 (only 3 this week), so she's doing alright for herself all the same.

I wouldn't doubt that shes not doing well or indeed that shes crap for one moment but do you not reckon thats more down to her record labels marketing and promotional capabilities than her talent...that and teeny boppers (and some older) the world over who don't know any better or are too lazy to think outside the box a bit and explore music thats not on the radio every time you turn it on.

Sorry but to me her music is just more of the same rehashed sh!te that a genuine music lover should not rate too highly.

Its not rubbish, her music is unique, powerful, uplifting and rhythmic. Thats why so many people like her." Born this way" wasn't the fastest selling single on iTunes history because it was marketed well.

That particular single was a complete rip off of a previous Madonna song...even her dance cherographer admitted totally ripping madonna off on multiple times and on style...
You're telling me that without all the promotion and stuff she'd be just as big?
Maybe that explains why she wasn't big until she was signed to a major label and blasted everywhere......Just a fad :pac:

Read Post 16. This is a thread for people who actually want to buy her new album. Not for haters who just want to publicly criticize her music.
