Recently Taney School in Dundrum circulated a letter to parents advising them that on two separate occassions a couple in a car approached a 3 year old girl. Once in Stillorgan and once in Rathfarnham. I phoned the Gardai. They told me that something was reported but they've no concrete evidence that the couple's intention was to abduct the child. On this the International Day for Missing Children keep your eyes peeled and report any suspicious behaviour to the Gardai immediately.

And in Kilcock, Maynooth, Lucan, Knocklyon, any town you care to mention. This is an urban legend - the same story is circulating everywhere.

Of course report suspicious behaviour but this story has been done to death.
