Out of sheer curiosity, what is the law when it comes to protecting you family on your property.
Arguement sake someone was to break into your house, what can you do? I remeber this was up for debate a few years back, what was the out come?

Basically you can use "reasonable force". You are also under no duty to retreat anymore. The thing to bear in mind is that you cant kill a burglar for simply being a burglar.
