Hair turning out at the ends

I love wearing my hair very short in a sort of 20's bob. However since I last had it cut it now flicks out at the ends in places. Any tips on how to stop it doing this? Is it because my hair is naturally a bit wavy and thick? My last hairdresser used to say she could cut it in such a way as to stop it doing this, but since she left I haven't found a hairdresser that has managed to.

I tried blow drying it using a curling brush but it still springs back. I don't have a ghd but have a hairdryer, curling brush, hair serum etc Any tips greatly appreciated - I'd like it to be as low maintenance as possible!

I have a similar cut & find the Babyliss Big hair great for this.

Next time you get your hair cut, get the hair "underneath" cut ever so slightly shorter than the hair on the "outside" that falls from your crown/parting, as this will encourage the hair to turn in IYKWIM?

I am growing out my hair and have an almost pageboy type bob/20's style like yourself, with a thick fringe, and I find that if I blowdry it with a barrel brush, turning the ends in, it will pretty much stay turned in til I wash it again. If you find your hair is turning back out again in between styling, just give it a short blast with the hairdryer and the barrel brush again (don't overdo this though, too much heat and all that), will turn it in better than any GHD I find.
