    Hi all,

looking at getting a 7 seater for the family and have been looking at 2008 C4 grand picassos. Now a friend has mentioned their work colleague is selling a 2008 Ford galaxy. Apparently is a UK import, 2.0 diesel with aprox 50K miles on the clock.

I know the ford is know as a full MPV vs the C4 which is a semi-MPV and the cost would be different but whats a fair price for the ford? Looking online there are prices near the 22K mark, dont know what they are looking for it yet but seeing it is an import, private sale/no warranty etc I'm more inclined to say 19K is a better reflection? What do people think?

Was originally thinking of the C4 as it seems roomier that other semi-MPV, has a good engine though not too large and the cost isnt as high by comparison, though have concerns of future potential reliability issues etc?

    your thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    W.

We've had our C4 for a couple of the years with no issues.

The S-Max and Galaxy are basically the same bus, except the S-Max is smaller in the third row/boot and better looking. The Galaxy is big enough to hold 7 adults, the S-Max is 5+2 little ones.

    thanks for the feedback,

I'll see what the other half thinks but its the price I see online that's putting me off, is a 2008 model worth €20K+?
