    hi im gay and sic of the attitude of the church towards me, even on a personal level. any ideas how i can officialy leave catholicism its a load of garbage

    well Its funny you should say this. In lieu of a recent primetime programme im setting up a discussion group 4 thos feeling disenchanted with the catholic chrush in rural areas. Id love to talk some more with other likeminded people.

    The Priest is not the church and he is bang out of order.

    The Church does not discriminate against homosexuals but understands and teaches that it is sinful act. It is not a sin to be a homosexual per se but the act in itself is sinful. There is a website out there for homosexual Catholics who have devoted themselves to a life of celibacy as requested by the Church and continue to go to Church. I will find it for you if I can.
