Guys - need a little help.

Just recently bought a fender blues junior III - coulfntn be happier with the amp or the sound from it. Exactly what I was looking for apart from....

Its making this weird noise, what can only be described as television type interference from the old days.

I thought this might be a mobile phone or laptop causing this so removed anything electronic from the vicinity. Then I removed all pedals from the chain and plugged straight to the amp. Then removed the lead from the amp and left it on a normal volume. The "sound" persists no matter.

I think I'm gonna bring it back to the dealer and swap it for another - anyone ever come across anything like this before?

Try it in another room in your house or better yet, another building some distance from your house.

This can actually be a problem with the tubes, more than likely one of them needs to be replaced as it's gone microphonic

Could be that or could be something like dimmer switch in the house for the lights? Try it in another room or a friends house and see if it goes away?

The Blues Junior is known to be susceptible to internal interference as the PI ribbon cable is run very close to the output xformer wires.
It can often be solved by simply pushing the ribbon down towards the chassis.

Even so, if this is a new amp I would go straight back to the store looking for repair, replacement or refund.
Opening the amp up void any warranty you currently have.
