I was just wondering if there are any Irish speaking accomodations available, like the ones that are availible in UL, where your're in living in a house with others and are supposed to speak Irish, and get a grant for doing so? :)

I would contact Senan MacAoidh, the Oifigeach na Gaeilge in the SU or the Accomidation office

Merely on a point of pedantry - Senan isn't Oifigeach na Gaeilge until July 1st, I think?
Unless your comma was of an "or" disposition, in which case, I retract my comment. Though then singling out a particular student on a forum in regard to an accommodation issue would be unusual.

You're right Ficheall but Melissa, the current OnaG has moved out of the country AFAIK so would possibly be better to contact someone who is round to investigate what the OP is looking for.

Contact the SU. They should have some idea how you should proceed. Melissa is indeed abroad and Senan won't officially take office till July 1st.

That said I've never heard of any such arrangement in Galway despite knowing quite a few Irish speakers.
