hi all im looking for some info if you can help.

a bank has closed my account beacuse i couldnt afford to pay a loan 72k, the account they closed was a buisness account for my ltd company. i have a chq coming in now from the revenue but i wont be able to lodge it as it will be in the company name, i tried to open accounts in other banks but cant because of the debt. i have a judgement against me and the company so i dont think this is helping eather.

has anybody any ideas what i can do to lodge the chq?

I didn't think the revenue issued cheques to companies. I thought it was all electronic transfer?

Talk to bank, wave Revenue Cheque at them. Ask can your account be restored.

I agree with Victor - speak to the bank who closed the account.

However be aware that the bank might well insist that some/all of the proceeds of the cheque is used to pay down the amount that you owe to your bank.

Is it an option to register a business in the same name abroad and open a bank account there? - maybe in another euro country so you dont have to pay exchange rates.
Not sure if it would work but might be worth looking into.
