    Hi everybody,

    I just have tWo quick questions regarding an internship I'm doing this summer with a company in the ifsc;

    1) should I wear a suit or is this to much? and

    2) if I should is one from m&s for about €300 suitable? and

    3) will I have to cut my hair or would it be advisable to cut my hair?

    My hair currently looks something like this;

    Silly questions really, but ones I just don't know the answer to, hopefully someone can help me

    Cheers

    Depends on the compnay but if its an accountancy firm I would suggest a suit. Don't spend too much on it, something that fits and looks well will do. I don't see why you should change your hair so long as it looks tidy.

    Would agree with most of what ciara says. Wear a suit the first day anyways and you mightn't need to wear the suit jacket from then on in but its best to play it safe at the start. Don't need to spend that much really but it depends on your budget and taste really, just make sure it fits well. Should think about losing a bit of the volume hairwise imo.

    Best on North Earl Street / O'Connell Street do fairly decent suits for around €100.

    I'd wear the suit (shirt, tie, jacket, trousers) in until you get a vibe as to what the place is like when you're first in there. If you feel too overdressed, take off the jacket and tie and it'll look a bit more casual.

    Can't imagine your hair being an issue, just once it looks tidy and doesn't have that much of a 'just got out of bed' look to it.

    Yeah, I done some observational research today and I didn't see a single fella with comparable hair; so I'm gonna cut it!

    Oh well, I can always grow it back I guess!

    It'll check out Bests next week and hopefully they'll ruffle up something for me ;)

    Looking forward to the change now

    Thanks for the replies guys, appreciate the opinions.
