If its a really nice day, being the fairweather enthusiast that I am, myself and '73D' might trip down to Leighlinbridge, in Carlow. It is organised by the Carlow Vinatge and Classic Motor club and costs a fiver (for Exhibitors) with refreshments etc in the cost. Public entrance I don't know. Anyway, a link can be found here.

If I do decide to go, I will think up a potential meet for Dublin area based owners who may want to go down in convoy (the scenic route probably)

    :p

Your expectations of security / gate staff are a bit high, don't ya think? If we can't agree amongst ourselves in here what's a classic car, what chance does the local security man have? :)

Not a bad car the PI - he's got it more or less right and a bit bling in the interior. Unusual to see a MK1 2500PI too. I haven't see one here for ages.

Talking of unusal interiors the cream MG had a green interior, which worked very well indeed and suited the car. Tried to get a pic of it but didn't turn out well! Typical

    :P
