Small Question

Not really a major issue so not sure if this is the right place.

Just looking for a bit of advice I suppose - I'm working as an Administrator at the moment, full time. I'm looking into applying to do an evening Business degree in september - something I've always wanted to do but never did and have decided to just go for it. I work till 5:30 everyday and am hoping that it'll be alright to leave abit earlier 2 evenings a week to make it onto town for the course which starts at 6:15.

What I'm wondering is, do you think it'd be cheeky of me to ask my employer if it would be ok to leave early on those 2 days - for 4 years!

I haven't applyed yet as I'm not really sure what to do.

Probably a bit of a stupid problem but there you go :)

Im sure they wont mind as long as you can maybe make it up somewhere else, it shouldnt be an issue.

I don't think there's any problem with that at all, providing you go to them with a plan as to how you're going to make it up. Tell them how much time you need, but that you're willing to start earlier those days/work through lunch, or whatever it takes to make up the time. I'm sure they won't mind once they see how dedicated you are, they may even be impressed.
