Happy birthday to the man, but he is also the proud holder of my "Worst gig I've ever been to" award.

He can't sing, and forgive me for not buying into the "his lyrics are amazing" thing - granted some of the songs are good, but plenty of them are just words that rhyme with the last line.

    I think he's ****e.

    Let the Lustrum bashing begin....

If you think he's sh!te why did you go to the concert
you hardly came to that realisation after shelling out money to go to the concert

    I hate him

Nothing but a miserable whinging baxtard, how anyone could pay to sit and watch his saggy face moan for a few hours i'll never know.

Tickets were a present, his band were great, I'd go see them again, just without the old dude singing who you can't understand

Is the Music Forum overrated too?

An icon both musically and culturally but absolutely shít live. Saw him in Thomand last year and he was without doubt the worst professional performer I have ever seen. I mean with his back catalogue playing 2 or 3 songs the audience recognises is just not acceptable in my opinion.

I thought this was about Dylan from Beverly Hills 90210, thanks for nothing OP

Like The Clash and Leonard Cohen, I'd tried a few times to get what people see in it and failed miserably

Also please call the thread Bob Dylan. When I see the surname alone, I have a dread image of some Niall Stokes type hipster saying it using his hands to make quotation marks.

My Da loved him until he went to see him in the Point, said he was an aloof fcuker and was sh!t.

Love him. Can see how he wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea though - I hated him til my early/mid 20s.

I do wonder at people who are disappointed after his shows. It's hardly a secret about what they are like.
