    Hey Guys

Im in a few of the different club matchplays, the deadline is sunday and i wont be able to play all of them. What happens when neither side of the draw can agree a time to play, is the onus on the first out of the draw to organise it. Are both eliminated unless we can agree who gets the walkover

Give your Competition Sec a shout to find out the story at your club.
If ye have both tried without joy then it may come down to a coin toss?

Best to put one name through on time, then play the match asap and alter it if the result necessitates. Not exactly by the rules but regularly happens in my club.

Another option is to agree best score in next singles comp goes through, not ideal either but a fairer result that the toss of a coin.

Onus is on the team/person on top.
If no common ground can be reached then the toss of coin is pretty standard.
However if one side is very agreeable and the other isnt or just cant find the time then I would be expecting a walk over tbh.

If you can show the comp sec. that you have made reasonable efforts to arrange a match (usually this would be 3 dates offered and refused) then you should get the walkover. Of course you could just get the match played. There's usually a month to get first rounds played. Plenty of time for anyone I would have thought.
