    Hi all,

I'm thinking of a carrer change but I have no idea what I want to do, or would be able to do. I want something thats going to cover the bills but that I have an intrest in doing.
I'm curoius as to how others decide what they wan to do?
I have to rule out a lot of jobs as I'm too far away from dublin.

I think I would like to work in customer support for a mobile network or xbox, but they're all Dublin based jobs. I'd need fantastic wages to consider moving.
I like using computers but I'm currently programming and not liking it. I'm still young tho, 24. I'd rather not go back to education so I don't really have much in the line of qualifications.

SO basically, where do I start looking and How do I decide what I want to do?

Do what you like doing, the dream is always getting paid to do your hobby [or close to it].

If your taking a large change in direction, remember your going to start at the bottom, just cos your a senior programmer [or whatever, just an example] - does not mean when you become a chief [or a network engineer] they will make you a senior - you have to start as a junior, and work your way up and get experience.

I don't have a hobby that I could really get paid to do, unless games tester.(But do they do that in Ireland, outside of Dublin?)

I know that, but as long as I get more than I'm getting now (which is less than minimum wage{I work over the border} per hour) I don't really mind.

I do like driving tho, but all I can think of for that is delivery driver or salesman.:(
