He's young and a chef, so in a moment of amazing creativity, RTE have to decided to exactly copy Channel 4's Jamie Oliver show from years ago. I'll be they'll have him and all his trendy young friends around a table eating whatever he cooks at the end with a trendy music backing track.

Watch out for the zaney camera angles while he cooks.

I like the new show but I have to say the camera work makes me feel sick the way it moves all over the place.

Do ye think it's possible that RTE might ever come up with an original idea of their own?
This is a complete rip-off of Jamie Oliver, and this guy and Jamie Oliver have one thing in common - they're both annoying ****s.

Caught the end and it was a bunch of posh knobs eating spaghetti.

I had to switch off the camera work was dreadful

I was watching it for while this evening. Grub he made looked good. But the jerky camera and the "hipster" style got under my skin!

The last 5 minutes was footage of his cool mates eating the grub....if you squint a little it was like jamie oliver's house 15 years ago!

I watched last weeks show but agree with everything here about the camera work.

blatant rip off of the naked chef.
Everything from the camera angles to the girlfriend at the start to the posh party at the end?

Everything he made involved a jar, why can't he cook from scratch.
Caramel from a tin for his desert..
    Wouldnt watch again I'm afraid.

The boy is a pansy, a fairy cake, whatever. Jamie Oliver annoys me as well but that's another story. Despite this in fairness the recipes are easy to follow and are very good for students with limited budget and/or imagination when it comes to food and cooking. RTE simply lack the ability to come up with something original perhaps?!

We pay a license fee to watch a poor copy of jamie oliver and some friends freezing to death on a beach. Very poor RTE

the parents had this on in the background and i have to say what an annoying cnut. i actually laughed at the end when i looked up and saw him and all his trendy friends at the beach with the uber cool backing music!

Watched this for the first time. I'm no Ferran Adrià myself, but surely nobody needs instructions on how to fry off some spanish sausage and mix it in a bowl with some bagged rocket?

The obnoxious little b@lix, if I ever see his feckin' purple campervan at a beach near me I'll be doing time I tells ye!!
    A Purple Campervan FFS!!

He couldn't even say chorizo correctly tonight, again & again he got it wrong.
I shouldn't let it bother me but its just another level of low by our National broadcaster.

The amount of hairspray in the lads hair, he'd want to be careful around gas cookers.
