Rubber on car key sensor

    Hi, The rubber has rubbed off my sensor of my fiat car key making it hard to lock the car using the remote. The man at the dealer said it is 220 euro to get a new key. Is there a way to just replace the rubber without getting a new key? In Cork preferably. thanks
