    Can you let me know
    1. what year these were purchased and form where? Receipt?
    2. any marks of any kind on them?
    3. reason for selling such a class wheelset?

    Interested, thanks.

I'm sure that they are very strong, but that clip is no test of their strength. You will notice that he doesn't stand on both sides of the rim at the same time at any stage.

    1. Purchased '09 - Not sure if I still have the receipt, will check.
    2. No marks - perfect condition, might as well be new.
    3. I'm emigrating to Australia and need the cash.

High Nellie your probably correct about the clip. However, they are known as being a very strong wheel set and these wheels are still 100% true.

hi, just checked Slane Cycles and they have 2010 pair of Cosmic Carbone Ultimates wheels for 2163e list price - NEW with all the warranty etc. Pretty sure if i spoke to Andy up there i`d get em for 2000e , SO unless you want to drop you asking price a good bit there`s not much value in 2nd hand 2009 set.
    Offer 1200e.

    Hi TheDocMan,

There is no difference in the '09 and the '10 wheelsets and the only difference with the '11 wheels is that they come with pre-glued mavic tubs and the decals are black.

Also im including pre-glued tubs and one spare as well. Using Slane Cycles price of €2,165.67 and then factoring in the cost of the tubs (€63.77 each at wiggle) at €191.31, total cost new would be €2,356.98. Therefore you will save €456.98 at the price of €1,900.

Your offer of €1,200 is way off the mark! That offer is practically half the price of the '10 wheelset from slane cycles. As I have said these wheels are in perfect condition and if you wish to make another offer please do.

    Thanks,
    Inthedrops

    Good luck with that OP.

You can get an ex-demo set, with tyres, for less in Wheelworx.

    Cheers El Tonto
That is a good price alright, although only €36.24 less than what I am asking for if you are including the spare tub I'm including.

I never said that I wont move on my asking price, so feel free to make an offer.

Have a think, yours are 2 years old, used with used tubular& no warranty. I'm sure they are immaculate and you paid top dollar but think they're priced way high.
'II offer 1250e, see how you go. I don't NEED em but they'd be nice so offer stands for a while. Cheers.

They may have been purchased over 2yrs ago but I have only used them racing for less than one season in total. The tubs are new as well.

I'm sorry I cant accept €1250, too low. Thanks anyway.

I use a free and easy program called 'Pixresizer' to resize my images before uploading them. However, a lot of image hosting sites will offer a facility for resizing the images which have been uploaded. I use imgur.com which does provide this, btw.
