Heading over on Saturday to soak in some of the atmosphere with some of the gang. Anyone know if/what is planned in the city for the game that would be worth going to? Or where would be a good place to watch it - unfortunately no tickets got (unless some kind soul on this site would like to set me up with some :D )

    Cheers

    Nothing.

Pubs within 1 mile of the stadium - ticket only.
Pubs within 6 miles of the stadium - closed during the match.
No outdoor large scale viewings of the game ('Fanzone in hyde park NOT showing the game).

    Better off going to Manchester.

    Cheers Mitch Connor

"Pubs within 6 miles of the stadium - closed during the match." Is this really the case? Big shame if true!

Any idea of a good spot to go to watch the game? Good sports pub I suppose?

A city of 7 million people is going to be pretty short on pubs and restaurants.

You should have booked something months ago.

Just saw this in my email from the Manchester United Supporters Trust...

We are excited to announce a new venue - the biggest, live screening of the game will be at:

MINISTRY OF SOUND, 103 Gaunt Street, London, SE1 6DP.

This is right next to Elephant & Castle underground station, 15 minutes from the Champions League Festival at Hyde Park, and 30 minutes on the underground from Wembley.

IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED THAT THERE WILL BE NO BIG SCREEN SHOWING THE GAME AT HYDE PARK, so this is the perfect meeting point for ticketless Reds in London.

We believe this will sell out fast, so please buy tickets in advance on:

    www.elevenevents.co.uk

Doors and bars open at 4pm. Space for 2,000 reds!
