    Because people arn't obsessed with him like they were about the Queen.
    They don't have the passion to "love to hate" like they had with the Queen.
    Anyway the Queen didn't claim any Irish ancestory.

    I actually met a whole load of American tourists this morning that are here to see Obama and then they're heading on to Italy. So we got their business at least!

    We'll always have any tom dick and harry American president coming over every 8 years and will go again, but the queens was a first royal visit in 100 years from a country which has had a massive impact on the politics and division of this island as a whole, in which a previous royal was murdered only 3 decades ago.

    i was down in moneygally on saturday , the atmosphere down there was great and everyone looking forward to seeing him. its important that barack visits especially to get the irish american vote in next years election. as a person , he seems very nice and intelligent
