Shoe help!

I have an event in work and I'm wearing something extremely similar to this dress, but it's not as cleavagy - the neckline would be quite higher than this one. Same arms but longer length - to my knees.



I am on a tight budget so I need to buy a pair of shoes that will suit this dress but also that I can wear with a black pencil skirt and under my usual work trousers. I can only afford one pair of summery black shoes at present!

Considering you plan on wearing them to work to,i think these would be perfect.

Have a look at the 360 viewer, the shoe has a lovely scalloped edge that really stands out when they are on (I have a pair:D) which will make them dressy enough for the dress you have. They are also plain enough to carry off going to work.

All fabulous choices ladies, but much too going outy for my office (I'm not in Ireland),

To give more detail, I'm unable to walk in really high heels and I find I kinda fall out of court shoes (unless there's a strap across the foot).

Do you think the one I posted is a bit grannyish? I just need:

• Something I can walk in
• Something that will be ok for daytime office wear
• Something that will go with the dress

Yes Bluebel - definitely a contender! Do you think they'd look ok with the dress or do you think they're a bit mammyish?

I know i'll have to make some concession because I need them for everyday too, but do you think they'll be ok?

The last pair I sent would be perfect for work, you would probably get away with them for your dress and pencil skirt. Take a look at these ones, bit more expensive....The last pair u posted from aldos with the wedge would be ok under pants I think but I dont think they would be dressy enough for the dress or pencil skirt.
What do you think of the pair below

Really like the Debenhams ones with the T bar!

Shame about the wedge being too casual. - I find them so comfortable!

The wedges are nice and do look really comfy but I think they would dress your pencil skirt down....so will u go with the shoes from Debenhams with teh T bar? Its hard to get one pair that will suit all occassions. Hope you find something

What I'm going to look for now is exactly the one in Debenhams, but with a wedge heel (if possible). I think that would be perfect..

If you're wearing bare legs, I wouldn't advise wearing shoes with a strap across the foot like that. The strap tends to make legs look shorter, whereas if you don't break up your leg, it'll look longer. If you're wearing tights, think they're fine though.
