Alternative to speedtest.net - with auto testing

    Just found this little gem:
    http://testmy.net/auto?r_time=0.5

    It will test your speed (not ping though) at fixed intervals, all day, everyday if you like. The link above is set for every 1/2 hour.

    If you want to build up a real picture of how your connection performs over the course of 24 hours, and what the hot-spots are in terms of speed / congestion, this looks like it should do the job.

    It's a good idea to create an account, as if your ip changes, the history will be lost. AFAIK the account will save all data from all tests.
