    Hi all.

Have had a Vicorinox SwissChamp for about 8/9 years now, with no real bother. However it needs replacement springs for the pliars and scissors, and I'm not sure where to get them.

I see http://www.swissknifeshop.co.uk/acatalog/Victorinox_Spares.html#aA364100 seem to sell spares, but is there anywhere in Ireland that would do them?

    Thanks :)

If you're in Dublin there's a shop called Peterson's at the bottom of Grafton Street that sell the knives and have a stock of spares too. I've got a spring for the scissors on mine there in the past.

I seem to remember they didn't actually charge me for the spring when I went in, but I wasn't sure if it was due to the guarantee or whether they just couldn't be bothered to charge me what was probably just a few cents.

Just to update, I went into Petersons and the friendly chap behind the counter replaced both the scissors and the pliars springs within two minutes for free. Very impressed both with Petersons and also Victorinox for having such a great representative.
