My phone has got a bit sluggish and its acting a bit weird so I want to flash a new rom. Currently I'm using Lee Droid 2.3b - I was going to give CynagenMod a go as it gets so much exposure - although if anyone else has any recommendations please shout! Thing is, the last time I tried to put a new rom on I nearly bricked my phone and it was nightmare to fix, I just ended up restoring to a backup.

So, I want to give it a go again - but i want to make sure I do everything correctly so i don't have a problem again. So, what steps should I take to make sure it goes ok? Thanks.

    Ah, can't help, sorry.

If it was Galaxy s I would have recommended a few options, but my knowledge of htc phones is null.

Sorry. Should have no problems with recommendations from other users though.
    Good luck.:D
