600 plus processes bringing windows to a halt!

    Hey,

    Need some help here...

    Have a laptop - Sony Vaio PCG-61611M -

    There are hundreds of proceses with random anmes , each taking up between 2100 and 2400 L or RAM...

    Some example image names from the task manager are:

    "1FCA5.exe *32"
    "21DC7.exe *32"
    "27356.exe *32"

    The description is the same....

    Ive never seen this issue before... has anyone else..

    download malware bytes and run it:

    As the last poster suggested it sounds like your computer is riddled with malware and or virus's. Get Malwarebytes or spybot search and destory and run full scans. Also get a decent antivirus program.

    I would suggest Microsofts Security Essentials (Free) or one of the other free ones out there.

    In the mean time dont enter your credit card details etc... or any passwords and its likely being logged...

    interesting, my guess is your computer is part of one of any of the big-game botnets. Those processes using your computer cloud-compute for malware attacks on other entities more than likely. A popular example of a botnet is the low orbit ion cannon, but there are several others virtually all of which take control of your PC without your consent.
