Surely someone involved with Dundalk should have realised that this is the same night as the Champions League final?

Yes its a pity it clashes; the club are still really excited about the visit and are hopeful of a big turnout on the night. I also believe that it was a matter of fitting in with the dates of the tour and it made sense to get the guys on route from Belfast to Kildare. That said not everyone loves soccer!!

Ken mightn't make this if Utd are in the final also :)

Yeah, I know not everyone would be interested in the game, but for a football club to organise it for that night is a little strange.

Yeah should be good alright not going to it myself going to slane, its a bad weekend for it with slane and the champions league on same day but apparently this date was the only date available on the tour? but the event has been moved to 3pm to accomodate the football.

Went to this today. A full 3 hours show. The youth development centre is a great facility for a league of Ireland club to have.

Jimmy made a maximum, and that just made the day for everybody. He did it in his frame against some poor punter who won the interval raffle, and never got to have a shot. Jimmy flucked the first red off the break up, as he was trying to split the reds up for the chap. But the crowd loved Jimmy's 147 and raised the roof.

I never thought I'd see Kirk Stevens playing snooker again either. A great day out.

Jimmy White hit a 147 from break today in Oriel Park, Dundalk, on the Legends tour.
