Need a cash register, and I can't find a decent one for less than 1600e!

I'm planning to buy a till for my business. I'd like a till that can be used with a decent EPOS program, and a printer for receipts. I don't really know where to start.

Something like this would be great... but it costs over 1600e



But I wouldn't need the main touch screen terminal, I'm sure whatever that does can be done from my PC.

Can somebody give me some info on how I can set this up without breaking the bank?

Looks good, thanks for the suggestion, but my budget would be around 800. As I said I don't need the fancy touch screen, I want to use my computer.

So ideally I'd like to just buy the till, scanner, small receipt printer, and run it all from my PC. I would buy these second hand. So any pointers on what to do and where to look? A till, scanner and printer can't cost more than 800 can it? Also, what EPOS software would people here recommend?

Depending on the volume of transactions you can start using an ordinary PC and software like this
