Opinions? They have quite a few styles out but some people hate them while other loves them - seems to be no happy medium!

Bit dodgy looking? Or cute and comfy?

I have a pair of them, I wear them around the house or messing around in the garden. I wouldnt wear them in public to be honest.

They are really ugly, but so comfy:D

I do not like them! They look terrible!

Awful looking things, the beach is probably the only acceptable place to wear them outside the house.

    This ^^^^

i bought mine few years ago now when they were first out, foolish i know (i don't normally buy stuff everybody else is buying in 'fashion') but they were comfy and my local shop were doing an offer on them.

these days they are like comfy slipper type things that are easy to clean and stuff. they are also quite handy to wear if you are going to the beach. but other than that, no i wouldn't wear them out as footwear

I wear them around the house. I wouldn't wear them out though.

I have accidentally worn them out to the local Spar the odd time and I usually get some funny looks... :o:rolleyes:

So comfy though - seriously! :D

A girl I work with has the wedges in black and also in brown, and I was shocked to hear they are crocs..they look really nice on her.

I also think the sandals are not that bad.. thought crocs only looked like the standard ugly ones..

If referring to the original type of crocs that were out years ago, then I'd agree with hdowney and ismiseuisce. They're fine for around the house, but I wouldn't wear them out in public (unless working in a hospital (a lot of nurses wear them because they're so comfy) or perhaps at the beach while on holiday).

I have a pair and I wear them around the house every day, totally love them, however I have never worn them in public.....although I dont think they are that ugly !!!

Forgot to post my own opinion - d'oh!

I have seen very cool looking shoes by the "Crocs" brand in a few stores but the originals are quite unattractive (to say the least). I own a pair (had two but due to over use in the garden one pair had to be retired to the bin!) and they are super comfortable! I wear them around the house, walking the dogs and that kind of stuff but wouldn't go out in public with them on (that is, if the rest of me looks like sh!t I don't have a problem wearing them!) - walking the dogs is about as far as they go, maaaybe to the shop for milk if they are really lucky (and I am really not bothered!)

I think crocs became victims of their own success with the amount of look-a-likes that really are much uglier than the original :D

The difference between the €4 pennys/dunnes/aldi ones and the true crocs is incredible - crocs are narrower, neater and generally less clown-shoeish not to mention way more comfortable.

I love them but would I wear them out  to the beach, gardening, or quick trip to the shop yes anywhere else absolutely not.

Then again I wish anyone not actually training for the Olympics wouldnt wear a tracksuit :D

Nay...hate them with a passion but the flip flops are okay

They are like uggs you either love them or hate them:D

I hate how they look but love how they feel. I use mine as slippers, and never even answer the door with them on.

They are as comfy as they are ugly, and I look forward to putting them on in the evenings :)

    Nay Nay Nay
Not a hope, not even alone in a adark room!! No.1 rule never wear anything you wouldn't be seen out in no matter how comfy

I bought them to wear as slippers and had such a bad allergic reaction to them that I can't help but wince when I see others wearing them
