    Hi guys,

I'm looking for a GPS so I can map out routes mostly around forests, or along rivers and import in to some mapping software (like QGIS). Can anybody recommend any good ones....not expensive!

I've been looking at Garmin etrex Venture Hc and Garmin etrex Legend HCx. If anyone has experience with either I'd appreciate any info!

Garmin gpsmap 62 looks to be pretty good. The older 60 series were brilliant and retailed around the €200 mark. Should give accuracies of +/- 2m with the EGNOS receiver.
