    Hi,has anyone recently connected to a group water scheme,what were you charged and is there a yearly fee?

    Charged €8100 to join and there is a yealy fee off €260. The intiial fee did not include the plumbers connectio but did include the compulsory meter.

    It depends where you are, my scheme is 1500 to join and 90 a year but going to a metered charge in the next year or so.

    No, €8100. Its a group scheme in East Cork with one hundred houses (capacity) on the scheme. We had no choice to join the scheme as the council refuse to leave us sink a well. Fairly expensive i know.
