Help ordering a new PC from hardwareversand.de

    Hey guys,

I've heard some good things about hardwareversand.de and I decided to use them as my part retailer for my upcoming PC.
My question is regarding the order process: I assembled the PC I wanted in their shopping cart system and proceeded to go through all the shenanigans waiting to be asked for a credit card (I was trying to find out if they accepted laser). Turns out they don't. And then they said the items were being delivered and I had to pay them. I sent them an email telling them to cancel the order as I haven't got the money together yet.

Has anyone else ordered from these guys? What's the sequence of payment? Do they deliver before you pay them? Can you pay them at the door?

    Thanks,
    -Fern

If anyone's interested in my build specs: http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i185/Endal/newpc.png
Feedback on the rig is appreciated. Unless you can't tell I'm new to this and sort of panicking. :o

pretty sure the only way for irish people to pay them is via bank transfer (which i did with my last order) and through paypal (pretty sure you can link your credit card to your paypal account and do it that way) but paypal is an extra 3% of your basket. i ordered with them last monday and used bank transfer and the order should be here on monday

everything about the build looks fine, not too sure about the gpu though

So they'll put it in delivery as soon as I pay them with bank transfer, eh? It's comforting to know I'm not legally obligated to pay for the order I put in then.

What's wrong with the graphics card? I was told MSI are quite reliable and the GTX 570 was the card to get. Have I been misinformed?

i didn't mean it's a bad gpu because it's definitely a top one! i'm just not too sure about how good for value for money it is against other cards in that price range. i'm geting the 560 soon and will eventually go sli which should will handle everything i throw at it

and yea they will not deliver until they get the money into their account. i did a bank transfer last monday and they dispatched it on the wednesday, should get it on monday. it doesn't matter if you make an order and don't make the payment, they will just delete the order if no payment was recieved after 7 days

The GTX 570 is fine, they overclock well too.

That ram is most likely a triple channel kit, you want a dual channel 1.5v kit for socket 1155.

The hard drive is slow to use as your main drive, the samsung F3 1gb is a staple around here:

That motherboard is the weakest of Asus P67 range, this is better:

The 2500k overclocks well, you might want to invest in a decent aftermarket CPU cooler:

    and some Thermal paste:

Any keyboards you get there will probably have a German layout too.

Yeah good point(s). I removed the keyboard and replaced the WD Green with a 1.5TB WD Black, and also got the thermal paste. Isn't the 2500k stock fan good enough even if I'm overclocking?
