Data service disabled; can I turn off the notification?

    Just a quick one.

    I have the data service turned off , and so I get the little notification on the top of the screen letting me know this. It's not the end of the world, but can I get rid of this without having to turn the data service back on( something I don't want to do).

    Oh yeah, it's a Vodafone 845.
